Senior Business Analyst (SDLC)
Summary: The Senior Business Analyst will lead business analysis activities for a major technology and operations programme within a secure government environment. This role requires expertise in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the ability to bridge communication between business stakeholders, external customers, and technical teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills to support testing and solution design, along with public sector experience and SC Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis activities across discovery, requirements gathering, development, testing, and implementation (Full SDLC).
- Act as the link between business stakeholders, external customers, and technical teams.
- Ensure requirements are clearly defined, understood, and delivered.
- Support development and testing workstreams, including UAT, system testing, regression testing, and defect management.
- Produce robust impact assessments and analyze complex business and technical changes.
- Facilitate workshops and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Operate within large, complex programme environments.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working across the full SDLC.
- Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
- Experience in data analysis techniques to support testing and solution design.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience in large, complex programme environments.
- PRINCE2 / ISTQB Foundation / BCS or ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis (nice to have).
- Must be a British Citizen and eligible for or already hold SC Clearance.
- Able to work onsite in Milton Keynes, 3 days per week.
