Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Summary: The Senior Infrastructure Engineer role involves supporting a high-profile government program by managing secure enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and Azure cloud environments. The position requires expertise in deploying and managing Azure services and security solutions while maintaining server platforms. Active DV Clearance is essential for this role. The contract is for 6 months with a hybrid working arrangement, primarily based in Milton Keynes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage Azure Arc and Azure Monitor Agent (AMA).
• Implement XDR/EDR security solutions.
• Maintain Windows and Linux server platforms.
• Oversee infrastructure monitoring, automation, and hybrid cloud services.

Key Skills:

• Strong Microsoft Azure infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Azure Arc and Azure Monitor Agent (AMA).
• Knowledge of XDR/EDR deployment (Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne or similar).
• Windows Server and Linux administration skills.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Networking skills (TCP/IP, VPNs, Firewalls, Azure Networking).
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash Scripting.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Active DV Clearance (essential).

Salary (Rate): £629.92 per day
