Our client, a global leader in engineering and complex infrastructure projects, is looking for a freelance Senior Talent Acquisition Officer to be at the heart of their international operations from the headquarters in Antwerp. In this position, you will shape their future success by leading end-to-end recruitment for crucial senior engineering and project management profiles, advising hiring managers and business leaders, and helping position the company as an employer of choice in the engineering market.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end senior recruitment: Manage the full cycle for senior and highly specialized engineering and project management roles, from intake and search strategy to offer, ensuring high-quality hires that directly support global fleet operations and complex projects.
  • Drive high-level headhunting & market intelligence: Conduct in-depth market and organizational mapping, competitor analysis, salary benchmarking and proactive sourcing of scarce talent, providing clear reporting and insights that guide business and HR decisions.
  • Partner with stakeholders & strengthen employer brand: Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and HR, coordinate with external search partners, and help reinforce the company’s employer brand among highly skilled technical professionals in the engineering market.

Requirements

  • You bring proven experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally combining corporate and agency backgrounds, with a strong track record managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Deep sourcing & headhunting skills: You excel in identifying and engaging senior engineering talent (e.g. Civil Engineers or equivalent highly educated technical professionals), using structured market, organizational and network mapping, and reporting professionally on your activities and results.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English
