Summary: Harvey Nash is seeking a Service Designer to enhance end-to-end services for a public sector organization, focusing on user-centered design and improving customer journeys. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end service design, from discovery through to delivery.
  • Map and optimize user journeys and service blueprints.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define needs and pain points.
  • Translate research into actionable service improvements.
  • Collaborate with Product, Delivery, UX, and Technical teams.
  • Ensure services are aligned to user needs, policy, and business goals.

Key Skills:

  • Service Design within digital or transformation programs.
  • Proven ability to create journey maps, service blueprints, and design artifacts.
  • Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
  • Background in public sector or regulated environments.

Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Service Designer to help shape end-to-end services that deliver real value to users. You’ll play a role in improving customer journeys, aligning business processes, and embedding user-centred design. 3 Month contract, hybrid to Glasgow or Edinburgh .Public sector organisation .£275 - £329 a day, inside of IR35 (umbrella company) .
