Solar Installer

Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in London & Essex. Our client is a growing and well-established renewable energy company delivering high-quality installations across residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Solar PV Installer / Electrician to join their installation team on a subcontract basis. This is a hands-on, installation-only role ideal for a skilled electrician who wants consistent work in renewables without sales targets or office-based responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing Solar PV systems
• Installing battery storage systems
• Installing EV charging points
• Completing high-quality, compliant electrical installations
• Working as part of an on-site installation team
• Ensuring all work meets current industry regulations and standards

Requirements

Essential

• Fully qualified electrician
• MCS Accreditation
• Minimum 3 years’ electrical experience
• Proven Solar PV installation experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong practical, on-site installation skills

Desirable

• MCS accreditation (preferred / may be required depending on setup)
• Experience across residential and commercial projects
