Summary: The role of Test Engineer involves supporting the testing and validation of mobile core network services within a leading telecommunications programme. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute functional and integration testing across mobile core network environments.
- Test and validate mobile voice and messaging services.
- Support testing activities involving HLR (Home Location Register) and HSS (Home Subscriber Server) platforms.
- Identify, investigate, and document defects, working closely with engineering and development teams to resolve issues.
- Produce clear test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Ensure testing is completed to agreed quality standards and project timescales.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Telecommunications Test Engineer or Network Test Engineer.
- Strong background in mobile voice and messaging technologies.
- Hands-on experience with HLR (Home Location Register) and HSS (Home Subscriber Server).
- Experience testing within 2G, 3G and/or 4G LTE mobile core network environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
